Youth Ministry
Fresh Manna Teen Ministry purpose, led by Deaconess Kiyuna Williams, is to develop a strong foundation in Jesus Christ in the lives of our youth. We provide sound Biblical teaching that helps our youth to understand and interpret the word of GOD. We believe through this method it will effectively teach them the will of God for their lives and to honor Him in their daily walk. Our ministry strives to support and encourage parents to be their children's primary spiritual teacher . For this reason, we partner with the parents in support of encouragement, training, mentoring ,and counseling to fulfill this role. FMTM is committed in empowering and inspiring our youth to live as disciples of Christ in a loving, welcoming and intergenerational community. In order to accomplish this we will continually emphasize: Surrender – our youth will be taught that dedicating one’s life to God and letting Christ control is our reasonable service.
Mission- we provide the necessary resources for our youth to “Go” into the world and teach others. We believe our youth missions are a critical component to develop our youth into reflections of Christ who will transform their homes, schools, churches, and workplaces.
Servanthood– we give our young people opportunities to serve in the church as well as the community. We train them to reach and affect other people lives through their walk and dedication to Christ.
In addition we encourage our teens that success is not only obtaining their goals but assisting their brother/sister in obtaining theirs. “Am I my brother’s keeper? Yes, I am.”
